A Phillies loss at San Diego tonight would give the Marlins sole possession of first place in the NL East.
I realize that it’s early but considering the Phillies were supposed to be ~omg unstoppable1!~, I find this fact completely amazing and intend to enjoy it as much as I can. The boys are playing really well right now, and this is without the lineup not performing to their full potential. I cannot wait to see what happens when players like Stanton and Hanley finally get hot, and LoMo returns to the lineup. I’m excited. :D
